About the Role

We are currently seeking a Financial Modeling Intern for a challenging experience-based internship to contribute to an innovative and groundbreaking project in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI). You will have the unique opportunity to participate in a fully immersive internship where you will develop and refine financial models that drive key business decisions. This is designed largely as a remote placement but can also be a hybrid internship (Chicago or Toronto). In this engagement/applied learning internship, you’ll gain unparalleled experience in a high-growth, dynamic environment, directly interfacing with senior management and contributing to transformative financial strategies. It will be a demanding internship and will require you to bring the best version of yourself to the table, but for those who embrace this, it will be a richly rewarding experience as well as a great complement to your academic investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business planning, forecasting, and decision-making processes.
• Analyze financial data and create projections for various business scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and validate assumptions used in financial models.
• Support the preparation of financial reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Evaluate the financial performance of existing projects and investments, providing insights into profitability and risk.
• Assist in the development of valuation models for potential investments and M&A activities.

About You

• Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a Master’s level program in fields such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Master’s program enrollment or completion is mandatory.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling techniques and tools, including Excel and financial software.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Proficient communication in English (both verbal and written) is required.
• Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and valuation is a plus.
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
